    Hummus Wrap

    You can use hummus in place of mayonnaise or as a spread. It is also great for sandwiches, burgers, and more. A hummus wrap is a perfect solution for your lunch because it is not only healthy but delicious as well. These are five delicious ways to eat hummus wrap and how you can make them at home.

    In the Middle East, hummus wraps are a popular meal for almost any occasion. It is an easy to make, portable and healthy meal. Hummus wraps make a great snack or even as a lunchbox food when packed with raw vegetables and pita breads.

    INGREDIENTS:

    • (Chef's Note: If you are making your own tahini sauce, it's a mix of raw tahini,  water, lemon juice, garlic and salt)
    • 1 wrap
    • 1 hand full of organic greens
    • 2 to 3 tablespoons of hummus
    • 1 tablespoon of tahini sauce
    • 2 to 3 tablespoons of a mix of diced tomato and cucumber
    • 1 teaspoon diced onion
      a bit of extra virgin olive oil
    • DIRECTIONS:
    • Lay the wrap down
    • Spread the hummus
    • Add the mixed greens
    • Then add the tomato, cucumber, and onion on top of mixed greens
    • Add the tahini sauce
    • Drizzle with the olive oil
    • Roll the wrap.

    Hummus wrap is a healthy alternative to sandwiches and can be eaten on its own or as a sandwich. It's made with hummus, vegetables, and wraps of your choice. It's also low in calories and high in protein, making it a nutritious snack that's easy to pack for lunch or take on the go.
