    Frozen yogurt

If you're looking for a delicious and satisfying frozen yogurt treat that you can whip up in minutes, you need to try this easy recipe! By using low-fat yogurt and quickly blending it with milk, you'll end up with a smooth, creamy frozen yogurt that will delight your taste buds. Add your favorite toppings, and you're good to go!

This is a great summer dessert and mid-afternoon snack, but, what about frozen yogurt for breakfast. The creamy treat is healthy, refreshing, and quick to make-- perfect for a grab-and-go breakfast. Unfortunately,  most fro-yo chains aren't open for breakfast. Since one my favorite frozened yogurts phenoms, Pinkberry, doesn't open until 11:30 am, I decided to create my own frozen yogurt treat, with my choice of healthy and tasty toppings-- including fresh fruit and crunchy granola clusters-- over the bottom,  middle and top of the yogurt. The key piece to this recipe is the frozen yogurt,  so buy your favorite brand and start topping.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Can I just freeze yogurt to make frozen yogurt?

Any yoghurt that you like can be used to make homemade frozen yoghurt. I prefer Greek because it has more protein, but normal is also acceptable. Yes, you can freeze Greek yoghurt, as some of you may be wondering. Greek yoghurt is suitable for freezing.

Why is my frozen yogurt icy?

The issue is that yoghurt, despite appearing creamy when slurped from the carton, really contains a lot more water than fat. When water is frozen, crystals form, making fro-yo chilly and definitely not creamy.

Is frozen yogurt healthier than ice cream?

With only four grammes of fat and 114 calories, the frozen yoghurt comes out on top in terms of overall calories and fat. The ice cream, in contrast, contains 137 calories and 7 grammes of fat. When selecting frozen yoghurt, a common error is to overfill a portion or pile on unhealthy toppings.

How do you keep homemade frozen yogurt from getting too hard?

Make golden syrup now to stop your froyo from crystallising. All you have to do is bring some water to a boil, add some sugar, and a wedge of lemon to caramelise the sugar. One of the sugar substitutes you could use to make your froyo is golden syrup.
