    • 1   apple
    • ½ Tbs  fresh lemon juice
    • ¼ cup water

    Filling

    • 2 Tbs  honey or maple syrup
    • 2 Tbs  raisins
    • 2 Tbs chopped walnuts
    • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
    • pinch nutmeg

    Recipe for 6 Apples

    • 6 crisp red apples
    • 2 Tbs fresh lemon juice
    • 1  cups water

    Filling

    • ¾ cup  honey or maple syrup
    • ¾ cup raisins
    • ¾ cup  chopped walnuts
    • 2 tsp  cinnamon
    • pinch  nutmeg

    Directions

    • Preheat oven to 350.
    • Core apples using a melon baller leaving the bottom of apple so they hold the stuffing.
    • Mix stuffing ingredients together and scoop into apples.
    • Place apples in a baking dish with the lemon water in the bottom of the dish.
    • Bake uncovered for about 50-60 minutes, until apples are tender.
    • Serve hot.
